Tasks

-Contributing Respectfully - Sharing opinions, valuing ideas, sharing opposing perspectives with respect -Maintain good housekeeping in work area. -Practice and support Rheem values with internal as well as external customers. -Inspect units or parts for defects and workmanship. -Maintain quality standards according to specifications. -Responsible for monitoring wet mill thickness for adherence to specifications. -Spray Machine Competency Checklist. -Responsible for notifying supervisor of any malfunctions of spray machine in a timely manner to avoid down time. -Observe all departmental safety requirements. -Responsible for making equipment adjustments as necessary to maintain daily production.

What You Bring

-Must be able to operate spray equipment with established procedures using a computer touch screen. -Must be able to properly use an instrument mill thickness gauge. -Must be able to place a weighted object at minimum height of 5 foot. -Work from written or verbal orders. -Candidate must not currently be on any probationary period/performance improvement plan or have had a Written Warning or higher for 1 year. -Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs; Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs; Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs. Must be able to stand, walk and/or lift repetitively during shift. -Must be able to frequently lift in unsupported positions as well as bend, twist/turn, reach, push/pull. -External candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of manufacturing/warehousing experience. -Must be able to enter quality data in a computer database periodically. -Must be able to perform set-up operations on equipment as necessary. -Candidate must be able to work overtime as needed. -Internal candidates must possess good communications skills. -Must perform minor preventative maintenance on spray machine. -Thinking Creatively – Applying creativity, seeking improvements, understanding from the customers’ lens -Candidate must promote the Rheem Values of Integrity, Teamwork and Business Ethics. -PPE required: Gloves, Safety Glasses, Approved Footwear, Earplugs, Respirator, Clothing Protection. -Candidate must be able to perform consistently within the physical requirements of the role. -MG 0063 - Spray Machine Op . -6s Principles and Lean Methodology. -Candidate must successfully be fitted for a respirator. -High School Diploma/GED. -Candidate must have held their current job for a minimum of 6 months prior to bidding on this role. -Listening to Understand – Open mind, learning from others, accepting feedback, embracing the objective
