Lead software engineer designing full-stack web apps for Lennar.com using Next.js, .NET, and cloud.

Tasks
-Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to integrate applications into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Actions, and automate deployment workflows. -Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with a strong emphasis on Next.js for both frontend and backend development. -Build scalable front-end interfaces using React and Next.js, and robust back-end services using Node.js and .NET, leveraging both RESTful APIs and GraphQL. -Participate in technical design reviews, offering insights to improve system design and code quality. -Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices. -Contribute to the architecture and design of software systems, aligning with business goals and technical strategy. -Identify opportunities for process improvements, refactoring, and technical enhancements. -Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements. -Take ownership of features or projects, driving them from concept to completion with minimal supervision. -Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear updates and surfacing challenges proactively. -Work closely with QA teams to implement and improve automated testing strategies and processes. -Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to modern best practices and coding standards. -Identify and resolve defects and performance issues, conducting thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality. -Contribute to technical discussions and help shape the team’s evolving technical direction. -Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality. -Actively participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. -Ensure performance, security, and scalability across the stack. -Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, especially in Next.js, .NET, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.

What You Bring
-Backend Proficiency: Hands-on experience with .NET, Node.js, and optionally Python, with a solid grasp of microservices architecture and API design. -Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in agile environments, adapting quickly to evolving requirements and priorities. -Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) is a strong plus. -Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. -CI/CD & DevOps: Experience integrating applications into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Actions, with a solid understanding of version control and automation. -Lead by example with a strong work ethic, commitment to quality, and proactive problem-solving. -Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to ownership and accountability. -Web Development: Familiarity with Headless CMS platforms, Digital Asset Management systems, and responsive front-end development. -Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. -Next.js Expertise: Proven experience building scalable applications using Next.js, including both frontend interfaces and backend API routes. -Architecture & Databases: Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database design for both SQL and NoSQL systems. -Experience: 7+ years in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on full-stack development across modern web and backend technologies. -Cloud & Infrastructure: Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
