The Role

Overview

Maintain property grounds, amenities, exteriors, parking and assist with repairs.

Tasks

-Assist in the cleaning of available apartments. -Represent the community in a professional manner at all times on/off property. -Uphold all company policies, goals and values. -Deliver communication documentation to residents. -Immediately report all unsafe conditions. -Assist in the troubleshooting/repairing of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems. -Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings. -Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager on assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. -Assist in the preparation of market-ready units, including removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready. -Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules. -Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner. -Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor. -Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily. -Contribute to resident retention programs.

What You Bring

-Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification -Goal Oriented and naturally motivated to reach goals. -Driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the work site is required -Familiarity with hand tools and maintenance equipment including blowers, chain saws, edgers, rakes, clippers, hedge trimmers, and lawnmowers -Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail -Physical requirements - able to lift up to 50 lb. constantly. -Basic knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with any property management software is desired -Problem Solver- Implements solutions and overcomes constraints. -Very organized Quality and detail-oriented. -Meticulously maintains curb appeal. -At least 2 years of experience as a crew member landscaping for residential or commercial properties
