Tasks

-Mentor junior team members. -Help with growing and developing the mechanical design team; -Attend client and stakeholder design meetings as necessary; -Manage numerous projects and coordinate both mechanical and MEP design delivery; -Assist with preparing project briefs, including budgets, time forecasts and resource planning; -Assist with tenders and fee proposals; -Produce, review and check designs in accordance with relevant design standards and codes; -Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders as necessary; -Deliver design calculations, reports and drawings;

What You Bring

-A relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering; -Experience with working in multi-disciplinary project teams is desirable; -A minimum of 5 years’ experience working within the Building Services industry; -Greenstar or NatHERS accreditation or proven ongoing commitment to innovative sustainability measures would be beneficial but is not required. -Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and National Construction Code; -Excellent communication and report writing skills; -Strong understanding of Chilled Water, VRF and Heat Recovery Systems;
