Tasks

Join the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) as an Infrastructure & Cloud Architect, where you'll lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure that powers smart city transformation in Dubai. -Optimize cloud resource usage, control costs, and ensure high performance and reliability -Develop and enforce governance policies for cloud usage, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards -Architect and maintain both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure aligned with RTA’s enterprise architecture -Collaborate with internal project teams and external stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose infrastructure solutions -Stay updated on emerging cloud and infrastructure technologies to assess and implement innovation -Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud systems using AWS, Azure, or GCP -Ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with RTA's enterprise systems, promoting interoperability and efficiency -Maintain detailed architecture documentation, support audits, and guide infrastructure decisions

-Skilled communicator and team collaborator across internal and external entities -Expertise in cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) -Excellent analytical, documentation, and project coordination skills -Strong knowledge of cloud networking, object storage, solution architecture, and technology design -Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure design and cloud architecture -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field -Familiar with governance, risk & compliance (GRC) in IT environments
