Tasks

-Responsible for the financial success of assigned projects. -Coordinate with the VP, Quality regarding quality, technical, and personnel issues. -Responsible for the overall success, quality, and safety of project execution. -Manage scope changes. -Comply with purchasing requirements. -Perform project closeout activities. -Direct and train electricians and electrical foremen, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. -Ensure proper integration of electrical services with other construction trades and project stakeholders. -Develop plans and work tasks for Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers. -Participate in professional activities for the purpose of career development and corporate image enhancement. -Plan, coordinate, integrate, monitor, and appraise to support the preparation of project and contract proposals. Develops project scopes, schedules, and budgets. -Support the VP, Electrical Services, with day-to-day supervision of the overall program and steps in as needed to lead meetings and support the overall progress of the assigned team. -Coordinate with the VP, Health and Safety Manager regarding safety and health issues. -Supervise complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code, Unified Facilities Guide Specifications, and Unified Facilities Criteria. -Prepare declarations of revenue. -Report variances from plan, appraising the impact of variances; recommending corrective actions. -Coordinate with Vice President, Electrical Services to assemble the right project team. -Develop project proposal costing and pricing. -Ensure compliance with contractual terms. -Develop and implement budgets for assigned projects. -Ensure maintenance of technical communications and business files. -Provide timely and accurate invoicing. -Maintain active communication with clients regarding technical progress and the status of the schedule and budget.

What You Bring

-6 years’ experience in DoD fueling systems repair, maintenance, or construction -6 years’ Client Management/Business Development background -Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel -6 years’ experience and understanding of construction site quality control -Ability to read and write technical documents -Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, and maintenance/repair -Ability to perform at a high level under stringent project deadlines -Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering practice, or related field, plus 8 years’ progressive project/program management experience including financial/supervisory accountability and authority; or a High School diploma or GED plus a minimum of 12 years’ progressive project/program management experience including financial/supervisory accountability and authority -Strong interpersonal, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills -In depth understanding of, and ability to work with various government contract types, including Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Firm Fixed Price, and Time & Materials -Ability to tightly control and manage project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, contract changes, internal staff resources and subcontractors -Familiar with Unified Facilities Guide Specifications, Unified Facilities Criteria, and USACE EM-385 requirements -Attention to detail -Master Electrician or Journeyman License -Ability to manage multiple projects under stringent deadlines -Fluent in the English language -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Ability to work in varying weather conditions and elevated work areas -Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics -Ability to prioritize required tasks to meet multiple scheduling deadlines -Project Management Professional certification(s), and/or issued a State Electrician’s license, as applicable; preferred
