Tasks

-Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strength CoStar’s technology platform and develop practices. -Drive and lead software design, developing standards and performing code reviews, that result in robust a code base that is efficient and maintainable. -Building customer facing web applications using the latest React and TypeScript frameworks. -Build micro services and RESTful APIs C# and .NET Core -Develop comprehensive application testing procedures to ensure high quality applications for tens of thousands of users.

What You Bring

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer who excels at designing and architecting modern web applications. This engineer would support our Web Enterprise team in building the software tools that power our proprietary CRM platform and support our sales and research teams across Homes.com, Costar.com, Apartments.com, LoopNet.com, and more. We welcome all qualified candidates who are currently eligible to work full-time in the United States to apply. When you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed. -3+ years of software development experience -Experience with SQL -Experience building RESTful APIs using C# -Data modeling experience from conceptual, logical and physical designs -A track record of commitment to prior employer -Strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) -Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch -Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. -Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college. -Demonstrated experience in designing and building large scale distributed, services-oriented systems and web applications in an agile environment -Familiarity with CI/CD deployment processes -Experience developing frontend applications using React
