Tasks

-Mentoring and supporting the development of less experienced members of staff. -Preparation of clear and well-structured design calculations, reports, drawings and other deliverables, including outline & detailed designs drawings and associated other Construction- Ready documentation, -Liaise with other engineering disciplines -Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and environmental and quality assurance procedures are followed. -Preparation of outline & detailed designs drawings and associated other Construction- Ready documentation -Inputs to the development of Feasibility level design and Optioneering assessments, -Develop the basis of design, undertake calculations and other process deliverable. -Liaison with contractors, the supply chain and other project stakeholders. -Liaison with clients to understand their specific requirements

What You Bring

-Sufficient and appropriate experience in process engineering, preferably in regulated water but open to other relevant fields -Strong technical design experience on multi-disciplinary projects -Good working knowledge and understanding of Water Industry Clients and Contractors -Degree in Chemical Engineering or suitable alternative qualification -Knowledge and experience of BIM led design and other process specific digital tools -Good working knowledge and understanding of the applicable British Standards, UK Industry Codes of Practice and Water Specifications. -Chartered or working towards chartership membership of an appropriate Professional body (IChemE or CIWEM) -Good motivation, influencing and people management skills
