The Role

Overview

Assemble, test, and repair components per blueprints on first shift.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Ensure all parts and surfaces are free from defects. -Ensure proper and effective operation of equipment and tools. -Maintain clean, orderly work areas and equipment. -Coordinate staging and sequencing of parts, production items, and product components. -Perform light maintenance on tools, equipment, machines, and other devices used in the normal course of the work performed. -Utilize small tools such as grinders to remove scratches, excess weld material and burrs. -Report repairs and/or issues to team lead or supervisor. -Follow all safety rules and adhere to core value of business. -Daily documentation of work performed for required production records. -Assemble by hand, hand tools, portable power tools, or other equipment necessary to complete finished product. -Load/unload parts, items, and components using hand truck, pallet jacks, hoists, cranes, and other mechanical aids. -Monitor quality of own work and immediately report defective material, unusual conditions, and/or operating difficulties to team lead or supervisor.

What You Bring

-Sitting, standing, walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing, twisting, reaching, and working at heights. -Ability to read work orders, -Assemblers in testing roles require 1 year of previous experience. -Ability to communicate both verbally and written. -Punctual, on time, ready to work, every day -Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as a team. -Attention to detail. -Valid driver’s license -High school diploma or equivalent -Perform repetitive motions. -Process improvement mindset. -Plant environment with potential exposure to bad weather, excessive heat/ cold, and/or excessive noise. -Lifting to 50 pounds with assistance. -Mechanically inclined. -Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
