Tasks
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and acquiring prime logistics development opportunities that align with our strategic growth objectives and deliver long-term value to the business. -Coordinating purchase and development agreements with internal stakeholders, including legal, financial, and investment teams. -Acting as the primary contact for agents, landowners, and consultants, building strong industry relationships to uncover new opportunities. -Supporting the preparation of investment papers and board submissions, providing key insights and recommendations. -Leading negotiations for acquisitions, joint ventures, and development management agreements, ensuring commercial and strategic outcomes are achieved. -Identifying and acquiring new greenfield and brownfield land opportunities for large-scale logistics developments. -Conducting thorough due diligence, financial analysis, and feasibility studies to support internal approvals and investment decisions. -Managing acquisition processes from concept to completion, engaging consultants, and ensuring alignment with broader development and investment objectives.

What You Bring
We shape leading experiences across office, retail, logistics and student accommodation. Tertiary qualifications in property, commerce, or valuation are desirable, as is experience in project management within a fast-paced environment. If you have a strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and a passion for driving high-value logistics developments, we’d love to hear from you. You will bring a strong background in logistics or industrial real estate acquisition, development, or investment, with demonstrated success in sourcing and securing development opportunities. Experience across Development Management, Valuation, or Agency will be highly regarded, along with a solid grasp of Contract for Sale and Joint Venture Agreement negotiations. Strong financial modelling and feasibility analysis skills are essential, as is the ability to manage planning approvals, major project bids, and stakeholder relationships with confidence and professionalism. It is essential that you bring proven experience within the logistics or industrial property sector, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, land acquisition processes, and development feasibility. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to assess opportunities, conduct detailed financial modelling, and drive successful deal negotiations that support GPT’s growth strategy.
