Tasks

-Contain, manage, and resolve quality issues related to non-conforming components identified at AGT Siemens Energy facilities, warehouses, or global customers. -Audit existing and potential suppliers to verify manufacturing capability and ensure robust quality systems. -Develop supplier capability to meet current and future requirements while supporting cost reduction opportunities and process improvements. -Investigate and resolve manufacturing capability issues within the supply chain to ensure business continuity. -Lead product and process qualification activities (PPQs) for turbine blades and vane components at suppliers. -Drive supplier root cause investigations and corrective actions through the Problem Resolution process.

What You Bring

-5+ years of professional experience as a Manufacturing Engineer and/or Supplier Quality Engineer in qualifying suppliers for casting, machining and coating. -Proven ability to manage complex investigations and projects end-to-end, including PPQs and supplier quality issues; SAP proficiency is a plus. -Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001), Supplier Quality Management, inspection methodologies, and quality improvement tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa). -Expertise in manufacturing processes, drawing interpretation, and collaboration with design engineering to ensure manufacturability; experience with hot blades and vanes at casting facilities is a plus. -Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education/work experience) in Industrial, mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field. -Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
