Tasks

The Construction Manager serves as the owner’s representative, overseeing all aspects of multifamily renovation and construction projects—from scope development and budgeting to project close-out. Working closely with the National Construction Manager, you will lead collaboration among architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. -Identify potential construction risks early and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions -Monitor construction progress through site visits, punch walks, and quality control inspections. -Establish project scopes of work and preliminary budgets based on inspections, reports, and building needs. -Manage architects, engineers, and contractors through design, bidding, construction, and close-out. -Facilitate Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders. -Review and approve monthly contractor draws and project documentation. -Lead impactful, meaningful projects across a growing portfolio. -Review drawings, scopes, submittals, schedule, and change orders for accuracy, compliance, and value. -Provide regular project updates to the National Construction Manager. -Ensure compliance with HUD, state, accessibility, safety, and environmental requirements.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of building systems (MEP, envelope, fire/life safety, accessibility, etc.). -Familiarity with affordable housing, HUD/state compliance, and senior living projects. -Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. -Professional certifications (CCM, PMP, LEED AP) a plus. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. -10+ years of relevant construction management experience. -Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Adobe/Bluebeam. -Ability to manage multiple projects across regions and travel as required. -5+ years of project management experience in multifamily or senior living construction.
