Manage and estimate heavy civil construction projects across multiple divisions.

Tasks

-Prepare and submit pay application -Mentor and supervise Project Engineers with: -Review Sub Pay Apps -Subcontractor and Vendor quotes review -Manage Project - Team Support - Assist All (KE&G, Subs, Owners, Etc.) -Mentor and supervise Project Engineers/Assistant Estimators with: -Coordinate Quantity Take-Offs -Prepare and submit estimates in compliance with contract documents -Prepare and submit change orders -Discuss safety, quality, schedule, and productivity with the Team -Attend project meetings -Prepare and attend project hand-off meeting -Finalize unresolved issues

What You Bring

-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate active construction sites -Complete understanding of the plans, specs, and scope of work -Job Order Contracts (JOC): Experience with JOC projects preferred -Innovative and Creative Approach to Building Projects -Work both in office and field environments; outdoors in varied weather conditions -Experience with asphalt is a plus -Exposure to dust, machinery, noise, uneven terrain, and site-related conditions -Demonstrated longevity in previous roles -Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk/hear, and operate computers
