Senior Resident Engineer

Overview

Inspect daily construction, document reports, and support engineering for water/wastewater project.

Tasks

-Assists with resident engineering duties. -Assists with office engineering duties. -Inspects daily construction activity. -Assists with creating draft Contract Change Orders. -Performs oversight of materials testing. -Communicates with residents and business owners. -Completes daily inspection reports in the applicable format. -Assure documentation, and accuracy of monthly progress payments. -Assists with creating meeting agendas and minutes; distribute and file.

-Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges. -Reliable transportation required. -At least 10+ years of experience with construction inspection and daily report writing preferred. -PE preferred, but not required -Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence. -Applicable Wis Department of Transportation Certifications -Osha 10 Hours -ACI Certification -Following certifications are preferred: -Certified Construction Manager (CCM) -Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required. -Experience in the water/wastewater field is preferred but not required. -Must be familiar with knowledge of WisDOT procedures and protocols.
