-Coordinate with other disciplines and work in a team environment. -Work on concurrent projects. -Mentor and oversee production staff. -Assist in the development of contract specifications and research the application of new procedures and/or products. -Prepare construction cost estimates, both in a broad and detailed scope -Perform duties with multiple projects within the established schedules. -Load calculations, life cycle costing and energy modeling. -Review installation of designed equipment/systems for compliance with construction documents. -Design heating-ventilation-cooling systems and plumbing systems. -Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan. -Meet with clients to discuss project scope, schedule, and budgets.
-Knowledge of Indiana Mechanical and Plumbing Codes. Experience with neighboring states' codes a plus. -Professional Engineer (PE) License -Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree -Revit and AutoCAD skills preferred -LEED AP and/or Commissioning credentials preferred -Experience working on publicly funded and municipal projects is a plus. -10 or more years’ experience in design, layout, and analysis for HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings -Possess aptitude to act as a positive representative of the company and its core values. -Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.
