Tasks

-Apply knowledge of engineering principles and research, design, and evaluate products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet project requirements. -Professionally stamp drawings, prepare affidavits, etc. -Interacting with owners, clients, architects, and contractors as needed with verbal and written communication. Lead and guide meetings as needed. -Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, etc.) to determine conformance with contract documents. -Provide guidance, support, mentorship, and leadership to staff engineers. -Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks. -Confer with other engineers and other personnel to complete project deadlines. -Lead and guide design and construction projects internally within the office and externally with clients and contractors. -Design and specify system components to ensure conformance with project goals and requirements. -Research and analyze clients design requirements, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. -Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.

-Experience with Healthcare, Higher Education, K-12 and Commercial market sectors -Experience in MEP design and specifications -Experience with Revit/AutoCAD -Experience with internal and external project management -8+ years of experience with MEP design -Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering -Experience with managing, maintaining and creating Owner and Architect relationships
