The Role

Overview

Operate & maintain large-scale boilers and 11kV electrical generation equipment in London.

Tasks

-Place the highest importance upon Engie Health and Safety policies and procedures. -Ensure PPMs and reactive jobs are closed promptly to allow for timely processing and reporting. -Always maintain health and safety documentation and records to the highest standard -Have a thorough understanding on Permit to Work Systems, and all other relevant Health and Safety requirements including writing and application of risk assessments and method statements. Issue Permits to Work when required.

What You Bring

-Work unsupervised and function as part of a team -Experience in electrical generation -Demonstrate a good understanding of boilers & heating networks -Experience of CAFM systems for maintenance -Fault-finding and practical skills -Experience in Confined Spaces ideal but must be willing to be trained in this aspect. -C&G Electrical Theory & Installation; C&G test & Inspection 2391 -Experience in use of Microsoft office package including Outlook, Excel and Word. -Able to work unsupervised and function as part of a team. -Experience in large commercial / industrial boiler plant and associated equipment -LV/HV experience - essential -Experience in Confined Spaces ideal but not essential -Experience in overhaul of pumps, valves and pipe work essential. -Have a basic understanding of the supply contracts
