Tasks

-Lead and supervise a maintenance team providing guidance and reviewing work on completion while fostering a strong team culture -Actively identify and implement innovations to improve performance and consistently meet or exceed client expectations -Working alongside Contract Support to plan appropriate resources to deliver reactive, PPM, planned works in an evidencable approach to client which meets the KPIs -Carry out QHSE audits to ensure documentation and areas are compliant in line with health and safety legislative regulations -Issue and manage permits to work in line with site specific safety procedures -Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and working condition -Manage emergency and contingency procedures under instruction of Site manager -Actively respond to emergencies and assist trades as needed inside and outsides of normal working hours, and coordinate remedial action -Maintain strong technical oversight of M&E systems, building services and fabric maintenance -To act as on call and duty engineer when on rota as well as point of escalation once probation is passed, deputising for site manager -Management of specialist contractors' performance on site

What You Bring

-Strong technical expertise in building services, M&E systems, and fabric maintenance -IOSH Managing Safely -PASMA & IPAF trained desirable -Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, display initiative, confidence and professionalism -Previous experience leading and managing a facilities/maintenance team & contractors -Hold a full valid driving license -Recognised engineering qualifications to level 3 or equivalent in electrical/mechanical/building services -Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and legislation
