Tasks

-Manage and staff the Maintenance Department, ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation. -Collaborate with the Plant Leadership Team to align engineering initiatives with business objectives. -Diagnose and resolve complex engineering and operational challenges. -May oversee and coordinate Information Technology activities within the facility. -Oversee the procurement and inventory of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) materials. -Support and implement productivity initiatives across the plant to enhance operational efficiency. -Lead the Asset Care Reliability Program to drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices. -Participate in strategic planning and present STRAP (Strategic Planning) initiatives to senior leadership. -Monitor, control, and report on maintenance and facility spend. -Manages a staff of 6-8 hourly employees, sets direction, and deploys resources. Responsible for performance evaluations, pay reviews, hiring and terminating. -May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to an including 25 pounds. -Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. -Manage plant energy programs to optimize usage and reduce costs. -Lead capital project execution from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. -Develop and manage the facility’s Capex program, including long-term planning, budgeting, and monthly reporting.

What You Bring

-Minimal travel required (15% - 20%) -Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills -Strong leadership skills -Thorough knowledge of environmental and safety Local/State/Federal rules/regulations -Ability to understand business principles -Working knowledge/understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance Module, SAP Project Systems Module, and SAP Procure to Pay Module -Proven problem-solving abilities -Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years manufacturing/project engineering experience and 2 years of work experience in a leadership role -Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook -Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally -Proven analytical and quality improvement ability -Ability to work independently and in a team environment -Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, internally and externally.
