Tasks

Design sustainable systems that will serve communities for decades—while growing your career along the way. -Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated, high-quality project delivery. -Mentor and supervise junior engineers, designers, and technical staff. -Manage projects from planning through design and construction of water/wastewater distribution and conveyance systems: pipelines, pump stations, storage, and treatment facilities. -Prepare and oversee construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules. -Build and maintain strong client relationships, including proposal development and project presentations. -Lead projects that strengthen our team’s technical capabilities and overall delivery. -Perform detailed engineering calculations and analyses, applying advanced design software to complex issues.

What You Bring

About H2M -Demonstrated success in process design, treatment plant upgrades, and pump station design. -Excellent communication skills and commitment to mentoring future talent. -Strong client-facing skills and a track record of proposal development. -10–15 years of experience in water/wastewater planning, design, and construction. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field). -P.E. license required; PMP certification a plus. -Active involvement in professional associations such as AWWA, WEF, or ASCE preferred. -Experience preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
