Tasks

-Maintaining job site security and safety -Evaluating subcontractor progress and performance -Overseeing material inventories and deliveries -Taking ownership of material use and minimizing waste -Opening and/or closing the site -Partnering with, and lining out, subcontractors and crew -Partnering with the Superintendent on daily schedule -Representing the company if the Superintendent is not on site -Ensuring work is performed safely, in accordance with plans and specifications, and in compliance with local building codes and Cal-OSHA -Performing carpentry

What You Bring

-Ability to take and give direction -Excellent communication, active listening, and team-building skills -Advanced construction math skills -Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications -Previous experience using Procore or other construction project management software -Being solution-oriented with the crew and subcontractors and vendors -6+ years of residential carpentry experience; frame to finish -Knowledge of practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools used in residential and commercial construction

Benefits

The compensation range for this position is: $45-50 hourly, DOE -Competitive pay commensurate with skills and experience -401(k) retirement savings plan with match available -Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits -2 weeks PTO -9 paid holidays
