The Role

Overview

Perform mechanical maintenance on nuclear site assets, ensuring safety and compliance.

Tasks

-Follow prescribed verbal and written work instructions, check sheets and other QA documentation to ensure compliance is always maintained. -Ensuring maintenance plans and targets are achieved safely and within environmental parameters of the Site -Carry out analysis and fault diagnosis of plant and communicate findings back to the Team Leader or Maintenance Engineer -Carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance on Mechanical assets including pumps, cranes, hydraulic systems, vent systems and compressors -Be authorised to hold safety documents and work to prescribed electrical and mechanical safety rules within radiological and contaminated controlled areas

What You Bring

-(Essential) Relevant experience in Technical Discipline -Working in line with maintenance techniques and best practices with the ability to read and understand a full range of engineering drawings -(Essential) Appropriate technical qualification e.g. City and Guilds, BTEC ONC, (NQF Level 3) -(Desirable) Experience of working in the Nuclear Industry

For the purpose of assessing an employee’s annual leave entitlement, a day means seven and two fifths (7.4) hours. A pro rata entitlement will apply for part time workers. -Participation in our Company Bonus Scheme (up to £5,750 per annum based on corporate objectives).
