Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with public agencies, municipalities, and private sector clients, serving as a trusted advisor and industry thought leader.
Business Development: Lead proposal development, pursuit strategies, and the identification of new opportunities within the transit sector across Canada.
Technical Governance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in bus and transit infrastructure.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Bus and Transit discipline, in line with Egis’ corporate objectives and market trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other disciplines, such as Civil, Structural, Architecture, Mechanical, and Electrical, to ensure integrated project delivery.
Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of engineers and specialists, promoting innovation and technical excellence.
Project Oversight: Provide executive oversight for major bus and transit projects, ensuring excellence in planning, design, construction, and integration.

Experience in planning, coordinating, and supervising engineering projects
Familiarity with Canadian transit regulations and standards
PMP or equivalent project management certification is an asset
Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license is an asset
In-depth understanding of the Canadian bus transit market and relevant projects
Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects
Proficiency in managing budgets, schedules, and resources
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field
Strong business acumen and experience in client-facing roles
Understanding of bus fleet conversion processes, including the transition to low-emission or zero-emission vehicles, associated infrastructure upgrades, and operational integration.
15+ years of experience in transit infrastructure, with a focus on bus transit systems
Comprehensive knowledge of bus systems, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and operations & maintenance
