Tasks

-Ensure estimating practices are in compliance with company guidelines and contribute to process improvement. -Assist with pricing for change orders on existing contracts and provide ongoing cost updates. -Estimate across multiple trades and disciplines, collaborating closely with internal teams. -Analyze blueprints, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed estimates for industrial construction projects. -Utilize company estimating tools and databases to ensure consistency and accuracy. -Develop and write proposal documents outlining project scope, assumptions, pricing, and schedules.. -Support preconstruction planning and client engagement as needed. -Prepare complete and competitive estimates, including labor, materials, equipment (crane costs, buyouts), and subcontractor quotes. -Assess project risks and provide insight on potential cost impacts or scope gaps.

What You Bring

-5-7 years of estimating experience in industrial construction with demonstrated success on complex projects. -Must be able to navigate active construction environments as needed. -Prior supervisory or lead estimator experience strongly preferred. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry estimating software. -Ability to interpret detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documents. -High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. -Ability to travel to job sites for site reviews or client meetings. -Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
