The Role

Overview

Performs preventive maintenance & repairs on electrical equipment per work orders

Tasks

-Performs operations as required by job work order and/or blueprint or diagram in preventive maintenance and repairs to -Shall be capable of reading blueprints and schematics to determine circuitry. Shall supervise and direct the work of lower labor grade employees assigned to projects in electrical repair work and installations in accordance with the Electrical Code of the City of New York.

What You Bring

-6 years in the electrical field, 2 years experience as an "A" mechanic, and 1 year experience in electro-magnetic controllers. -Shall have a home telephone and be available for emergency calls at night and on days off. -Must be proficient in the use of all tools of the electrical trade and must be skilled in the operations of electrical test equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, multi-meters, meggers, tachometers, temperature gauges, watt meters, phase meters, and various recording devices. -High school diploma and/or equivalent or electrical trade school diploma required.

Benefits

-Shall accept a proportional share of scheduled overtime work. -Salary Range: $39.34 - $49.17
