Technical Designer

Overview

Assist in production of construction docs, Revit modeling, and design support for multifamily projects.

Tasks

-Apply applicable code requirements and assist with back check. -Note and reference all materials and products accurately. -Transfer hand-sketched unit floor plans and elevations into Revit. -Support plan check corrections and consultant coordination. -Provide graphics, 3D modeling, presentations, and design studies support to the design team. -Draw undeveloped building and wall sections and assemble project details. -Prepare all general project data sheets and dimension plans. -Assist the Job Captain in producing construction documents. -Assist Project Managers with services during construction, including issuing ASI's, RFI's, and reviewing shop drawings.

What You Bring

-On track to be licensed. -Knowledge in contract administration, quality control, and budgeting. -Minimum of 2 - 5 years of multifamily project experience. -Understanding of building construction Types I, III, and V. -Strong hand drawing skills. -Proficiency in tools such as SketchUp, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. -Experience in high-rise residential and multi-family construction. -Minimum of 2 - 5 years of Revit experience. -Bachelor's Degree in Architecture preferred.
