Tasks
-Assists the Project Manager with subcontractor disputes, quality control, and schedule coordination -Communicates site problems, conflicts, schedules, and quality issues effectively to the Project Manager and owner -Resolves field construction problems -Mentors Project Associates assigned to the project -Supports the Project Manager in the negotiation of claims and changes -Through assigned Foremen, manages the day-to-day activities of the construction operation -Maintains open communication between all subcontractors to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc. support project activities and project schedule -Assists the Safety Department in performing incident and/or accident investigations and follow-up -Plans and supervises activities including determining the method of construction, sequencing, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and work schedule -Trains and manages other field staff -Works with the Project Manager and owner’s representatives to ensure work complies with drawings and specifications -Assists the Project Manager with Change Order review -Monitors field staff & subcontractor compliance with project safety program requirements; ensures that weekly safety inspections and toolbox talks are completed; ensures that corrective measures are implemented -Performs project close-out and ensures punch list is completed in a timely manner -In conjunction with the Project Manager, creates and maintains project schedule; plans monitor, and reviews critical path dates and milestone schedules -Provides input to Project Manager regarding cost and schedule forecasts

What You Bring
-Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. -Basic computer skills preferred -Good organization, multi-tasking, leadership, and decision-making ability -Effective communication skills -A minimum of three years experience on construction projects in a Healthcare Foreman or Healthcare General Foreman role (or higher) position -Ability to read and interpret construction documents -Knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise small to midsized groups -Understands all subcontractors’ scopes; assures subcontractors maintain schedules, and quality standards to meet contract requirements
