Tasks

You’ll support the commercial management of live construction projects, assisting in cost control, procurement, valuations, and contract administration. Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and project delivery team, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. -Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency within the commercial function -Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors -Support project teams in managing risk, change control, and contractual compliance -Monitor project costs and provide accurate financial reporting -Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows -Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts -Support procurement and subcontractor management, including tendering and negotiation

What You Bring

-Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail -Good understanding of JCT or NEC forms of contract -Degree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline -Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor within a Main Contractor environment -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
