Supervisor II, Gas Supply (Gas Scheduler/Buyer)

Manage gas purchasing, RFPs, hedging, and supply balance for Northeast region.

Tasks

-Issues RFPs for LDC's and monitors the process from solicitation to signed contract. -Notifies winning bidders as well as subsequent bidders of the final results. -Interacts with several external groups to ensure Liberty is recognized as a leader in the Natural Gas industry. -Maintains daily balance between natural gas deliveries and consumption for legal entities -Ensures transaction confirmation between parties are in compliance with company goals. Works closely with Legal and Treasury group as well as Energy Procurement department to ensure all contractual requirements are met. -Attends meetings and performs critical analysis on pricing and strategy -Works closely with Gas Control forecasting to ensure adequate supply of gas each day

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent -Executes hedging program -Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment -Proficient in Microsoft Office required. -5 years’ experience in the natural gas industry or similar experience with demonstrated ability to proactively identify and solve problems; strong analytical, oral, and written communications skills required.
