The Role

Overview

Lead market expansion, sales, and client relations for engineering projects in KSA/MENA.

Tasks

-Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. -Negotiation and closure of transactions. -Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction. -Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers. -Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives and requirements. -Support strategy for development of projects by breaking them into targeted and workable business objectives. -Develop and present sales development plans. -Attendance of relevant events and maintenance of a high profile within the industry. -Build and develop relationships with and submit proposals to Government entities and private companies detailing opportunities for collaboration and actively participate with the technical & project team for tender Participation and bid submission, bid pitching, presentations, marketing campaigns and brand building. -Develop sales and business development strategy with management team. -Follow up successful bids by maintaining stakeholder interactions when transactions are moving from Financial Close. -Responsible for the promotion of the client's Product range in Saudi Arabia and MENA region and the tracking, collecting, sorting, researching, and archiving of the market information. -Manage the sales team by setting measurable and achievable objectives, monitoring and reporting on the progress of these on monthly basis. -Analysis of development projects for feasibility and conduct due diligence process. -Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices and payments etc.

What You Bring

-Communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in fluent Arabic & English is essential. -Skilled in written and oral business communications in English (Arabic is a plus). -Business development experience between 10-15 years of post-qualification experience. -Exposure to cutting-edge projects driving Middle East / North African regions development. -Minimum 5 years of Middle East Experience Mandatory. -Knowledge of project bidding to RFP's and financial modelling basic skills will be an added advantage. -Team leader/player with good interpersonal communication skill and professional attitude. -The candidate should have experience of working for a a minimum of 5 years in sales and marketing of specialty in engineering sector with current or recent direct exposure to the KSA /MENA market would be preferable. -Strong ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently while multi-tasking. -Bench marking and research of similar or related developments. -Be familiar with international business rules and experienced in marketing development.
