Coordinate and facilitate activities for residents at a retirement village.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Connect communities and foster bonds through exciting activities -Assist in the delivery of various workshops, social and craft activities. Anything from bake offs, fashion shows and even floristry demonstrations -Ensure our activities calendar meets requirements around physical, mental and social activities -Work closely with the broader activities team to ensure our events calendar runs smoothly -Promote happiness, wellbeing, and quality of life for all residents -Accompany residents on various outings -Plan, schedule, facilitate and run activities within our village -Curate and develop flyers / communications around monthly events

Requirements

• certificate iii/iv
• aged care
• empathy
• communication

What You Bring

-Certificate III/IV in Leisure & Lifestyle is desired (but not essential for the right candidate) -We'd also love you to have experience working in Aged care but that's not essential. -Strong empathy -Outstanding communication skills
