Tasks

-Complete electrical calculations and prepare specifications. -Communicate effectively with all team members, including engineers, architects, and owners. -Oversee Construction Administration duties, including reviewing submittals, answering RFIs, conducting site visits, and handling punch lists. -Perform fieldwork for Existing Condition Assessments and renovation projects. -Lead projects from start to finish, coordinating all electrical design requirements.

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of Electrical codes such as NEC, IBC, IECC/ASHRAE 90.1, NFPA. -A four-year electrical engineering degree from an accredited college or university, or an associate degree with 5+ years of experience. -Electrical PE license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or the ability to obtain it quickly through reciprocity. -4-8 years of consulting electrical engineering design experience, preferably with large institutional or commercial projects. -EIT certification level with the intention to obtain a PE license. -Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. -Experience with lighting calculation software like VISUAL or AGi32.
