Tasks

-Provide technical oversight and mentorship to electrical designers and junior engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables. -Prepare electrical design for large scale projects-industrial, institutional, office, retail, healthcare and other -Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions -Lead the electrical design process for large-scale, complex projects across multiple sectors, including industrial, institutional, healthcare, office, and retail. -Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specifications and selections -Prepare, sign and seal engineering drawings, reports, and specifications in compliance with state licensing requirements. -Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and OSHA safety regulations

What You Bring

-PE License Required -Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time -Experience with Lighting Design and Photometric Software -Proven ability to serve as responsible-in-charge and manage the technical integrity of project deliverables. -Experience with latest versions of AutoCAD -10+ years of formal experience in electrical system design for buildings -10+ years of progressive experience in electrical system design for buildings. -Experience with Engineering Design software including SKM -Must possess Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering -Must have experience as a project lead on complex, multi-discipline engineering design projects. -Must have advanced knowledge of electrical engineering and design and be familiar with applicable codes for building, energy, and construction standards and acceptable industry practices -Strong verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to prepare written specifications, letters, reports and related contract documents.
