Crisis Management Operator

Overview

Monitors, coordinates, and responds to crises, following protocols and reporting incidents.

Tasks

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, practices, cost optimization, and productivity & efficiency improvement. Participate in drills and training sessions. Escalate problems to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in a timely manner. Ensure all emergency communication systems (e.g., radios, telephony, messaging tools) are operational and updated. Assist in deploying crisis response resources as needed. Participate in training exercises and simulations to enhance response readiness. Support post-crisis reporting by preparing incident summaries and compiling data. Prepare initial incident reports for review by higher-level operators. The job holder is responsible for crisis response activities including monitoring, coordinating, and responding to crisis events, executing predefined protocols and supporting during incidents. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards within WTCO and related functions such as but not limited to (HC, HSSE, Risk, Cybersecurity, etc..). Collect and relay critical information to the operator team and supervisors. Initiate standard crisis response actions as instructed by higher-level operators or management. Ensuring work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions. Execution of crisis response protocols and escalating complex issues to the Senior Operator. Follow established emergency and crisis response procedures. Continuously monitor real-time information from multiple sources, including alerts, surveillance systems, and reports. Maintain detailed logs and records of all actions taken during a crisis incident. Assist in distributing alerts, warnings, and updates to stakeholders. Record incidents accurately and promptly in designated systems.
