Tasks
-Prepare and issue purchase orders, requests for quotations (RFQs), and tenders. -Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms and service level agreements. -Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service. -Prepare procurement reports and analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities. -Manage inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely delivery of goods. -Maintain awareness of market trends, product developments, and changes in supplier pricing. -Ensure that procurement activities comply with organizational policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements. -Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors and contractors. -Develop and implement procurement plans and strategies aligned with organizational objectives. -Collaborate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs and specifications. -Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.

What You Bring
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. -Time management and multitasking -Minimum of [2–5] years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. -May require travel depending on project or supplier locations. -Office-based with occasional field visits or supplier site inspections. -High level of integrity and attention to detail. -Good understanding of procurement laws, policies, and best practices. -Strong negotiation and contract management skills. -Strategic thinking and planning -Experience in [specific industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing, NGO, or government sector] is preferred. -Proficiency in MS Office and procurement or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
