The Role

Overview

Tasks

-Assists in identifying and developing innovative methods for improving project management processes and techniques against current SOPs. -Position will visit Client sites and must adhere to stated safety rules. -Leads project teams of their own or led by others to a successful conclusion. -Ensures achievement of corporate goals for assigned projects. -The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas. -Identifies risks to the project and corporation and works with Project Executives and the Director of Operations to mitigate risks. -Manages client interaction on assigned projects and promotes positive relationships. -Holds primary responsibility for the achievement of scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives on assigned projects. -Attends pre-bid meetings with clients and prepares proposals in conjunction with department heads, directors, and other key individuals. -Prepares internal monthly financial/schedule reports for the Director of Operations for each project. -Independently develops Design budgets. -Coordinates with the project discipline lead to determine the scope, complexity, and planning and scheduling requirements of the projects. -Provides mentorship to all developing individuals within the project management group and the design disciplines. -Manages all sub-consultants on the project. -Prepares monthly financial/schedule reports for the Client as requested by the client. -Develops and maintains meeting minutes and Action Items/Needs List for each project.

What You Bring

-Project Management Institute (PMP certification preferred). -A minimum of 5 years of Pharmaceutical/GMP project experience. -Must be able to adhere to strict cleanroom gowning protocol. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or planning. -Skilled in the use of IT tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, planning, and scheduling software. -Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include exposure to varying -10+ years of industry experience in Project Management. -Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client’s location is possible, depending on the assignment. -This position will require 5-20% travel or as required by the assigned project. -Must have access to reliable transportation. -Must be able to climb ladders as necessary. -Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. -Must possess the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required. -Must have the ability to travel and commute on a daily or routine basis. -Understanding of Earned Value and other project control methods. -Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods.
