Overview
Create and detail SolidWorks drawings for overhead lifting equipment and crane components.

Tasks
-Design and detail below-the-hook lifting devices in accordance with industry standards. -Standardization of parts for implementation of package hoist product line to increase productivity and workflow. -Use MS Excel to develop bills of material (BOM) for integration into ERP. -Efficiently develop general arrangement drawings to provide to customer to communicate basic dimensions of a crane system. -Develop standard part drawings and models with the use of design tables to create family of parts efficiently. -Create custom crane fabrication and installation drawings using SolidWorks. -Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner; follow all Safety Guidelines -Develop and maintain engineering Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to document standardization of engineering process -Interface with PHC personnel from shop, service, sales, installation, shipping, and purchasing to help ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery of our product.

What You Bring
-Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) is required -Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to multi-task -Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify -Requires solid written and verbal communication skills -Experience in an ERP system strongly preferred -Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills are required -Demonstrated mechanical aptitude -Preference for individuals with a minimum of 2 years of experience designing and detailing components utilizing Solidworks and AutoCAD, emphasis on machined parts, design tables, parametric design, weldments -Possess a working knowledge of all applicable manufacturers and industry standards (ASME and OSHA)
