Tasks

-Handle collections of outstanding balances not paid within terms of invoice. -Distribute mail to the correct departments. -Provide occasional support to administrative department and accounts payable when assigned. -Oversee customer inquiries such as statement and invoice copies, lien waivers, and credits. -Maintaining all account receivable records, including waivers, sales tax, tax exemptions, -Assist in managing accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment collection, reconciliation, and month-end closing. -Analyze accounts receivable aging report to optimize cash flow and reduce the outstanding days.

What You Bring

-High School diploma, or general education degree (GED) or other certification/degree. -Integrity: Handling confidential financial and employee information requires a high degree of trustworthiness and ethical conduct. -Prefer previous experience with ERP System, FeneVision and Sage. -Prefer Professional certifications like a Certified Bookkeeper (CB). -Attention to detail: Meticulous accuracy is crucial to prevent errors. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook along with 10-key and basic computer knowledge. -At least 2 years’ experience in an accounting role. -Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities and work under pressure. -Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. -Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking skills. -Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. -Organizational & Time Management Skills: The capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain organized records. -Sitting for prolonged periods of time in a cubicle with office noise. -Lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching.
