Tasks
-Create and manage project schedules and key milestones, coordinating with stakeholders and managing accountability for meeting set achievements during the design phase -Management of the proposal and design phase in alignment with our estimate, the RFP, and current procurement lead times -Coordination of design reviews and alignment on standard layouts with the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team -Coordination of Risk and Legal review of the EPC Agreement and key Exhibits, while communicating clarification in our proposal response. -Assist in project margin plan development and alignment during the design phase -Manage budget trending logs, and any associated communications and resources -Ensure proper alignment of design documents and project execution plan across all internal and external stakeholders -Leading and coordination of due diligence for permitting and code compliance requirements that apply to each project. -Lead the Mortenson project team in achieving, schedule alignment, an integrated team experience, and construction readiness -Manage and/or attend project site visits as necessary during the pursuit and design phase -Support the Design Phase Manager and/or Project Executive with the management of design phase cost issues -Establish and manage project budget, scope expectations, and ensure alignment between them

-Shown positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills -Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. -Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback -Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks -Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, Estimating, or equivalent field -Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills -Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. -Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.).
