Tasks

-Complete checklists at hold/witness points as required by electrical ITPs. -Collaborate with construction supervisors, planners, and subcontractors to implement the electrical quality system. -Identify and mitigate electrical safety hazards. -Report and assist in resolving electrical non-conformance and rework issues. -Understand and apply the project’s Quality Management System, work instructions, and procedures specific to electrical systems. -Generate quality reports and metrics related to electrical work. -Develop and implement inspection and test plans and procedures for electrical installations. -Ensure electrical work complies with technical requirements defined by drawings, specifications, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and procedures. -Ensure the effectiveness of the electrical quality plan for assigned areas. -Inspect field conditions, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions. -Interpret electrical construction codes and standards. -Conduct training on project-specific electrical quality processes and requirements. -Maintain project quality records related to electrical systems.

What You Bring

-Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. -Legally entitled to work in Canada. -Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field or Journeyman Electrician. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint. -Strong mathematical and analytical skills. -Regular, reliable attendance. -Ability to access all areas of a construction site. -Familiarity with electrical testing techniques and special processes. -Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards (CEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E, CSA, etc.). -Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. -Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed. -Ability to work independently and in teams.
