Operate and maintain production equipment on 2nd/3rd shifts at PPG Cleveland plant.

Tasks

-Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition. -Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment. -Repair and clean the equipment when needed. Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements. -Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality. Provide assistance to junior operators in their assigned responsibilities. -Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer the production equipment between warehouse and working area. Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation. -Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders and operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing. -Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.

What You Bring

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day. -Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
