Overview
Processes and administers semi-monthly/bi-weekly payroll, ensures compliance and supports improvements.

Tasks
-Work with an external vendor (ADP) to prepare and file payroll-related tax reports, including quarterly and year-end tax filings. -Respond to employee inquiries. -Participate in payroll projects, system upgrades and implementations. -Complete payroll-related calculations for new hires, terminations, promotions, and other personnel changes impacting pay. -Process production payroll and manual offcycle checks. -Perform reconciliation of payroll accounts and analysis of pay code-to-GL mapping. -Provide expertise in lookback and overtime premium calculations, along with paycheck display. -Document payroll processes and complex calculations, and identify opportunities for ongoing audits and improvements. -Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies regarding payroll, taxes, and reporting.
