Tasks
-Upload customer invoices to external portals. -Issue County Court claim forms when necessary. -Process supplier invoices through a scanning tool using a three-way match. -Maintain and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required. -Responsible for self-management and prioritisation of own workload. -Selects appropriate alternatives from defined options in a variety of work routines. -Update the in-house system with any new alerts received from Companies House. -Process and reconcile all receipts and payments across all business units to the appropriate bank accounts. -Responds to internal and external queries via telephone and email with professionalism and efficiency. -Works within well-defined procedures that may involve multiple tasks and workflows. -Provide Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable support as required. -Conduct credit “health checks” on external companies and provide recommendations on their creditworthiness when requested. -Ensure all processes and procedures are compliant with SOX and group policies. -Process new supplier account forms. -Process and pay employee expenses using the in-house system. -Create promises of payment for all customers using Sidetrade. -Process new customer account forms and obtain the latest credit checks through Experian. -Liaise with internal customers to obtain invoice approvals through Smartsheets.

What You Bring
-Familiarity with JD Edwards and Google Suite systems. -Knowledge or experience of working in a shared services environment. -Requires the ability to evaluate factual information and make sound judgments based on analysis. -Demonstrates clear and courteous verbal and written communication. -Experience working within an office environment. -Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. -Confident communicator with both internal and external customers. -Experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable. -Solid understanding of basic accounting principles. -Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. -Proficiency in Google applications, particularly Google Sheets. -Understands how assigned responsibilities relate to and integrate with others within the team or unit. -Strong time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
