The Role

Overview

Perform outdoor stormwater/pond maintenance, operate equipment, and ensure safety.

Tasks

-Operate and maintain equipment safely (slope mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, mini-excavators, skid steers, etc.) -Perform manual labor tasks and operate hand tools -Maintain and repair ponds, lakes, and stormwater control measures (grading, erosion repair, planting, mowing, invasive species removal) -Lead by example, ensuring a safe and productive work environment -Complete repairs and maintenance on ponds, lakes, and other stormwater control measures, including: Turf establishment, mowing, planting, invasive plant treatment or removal, hand or machine excavation, grading, erosion repairs, tree removal, and site stabilization -Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety guidelines

What You Bring

-Experience in pond/lake maintenance, landscaping, erosion control, or stormwater maintenance -Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in various weather conditions -Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate team members -Ability to follow company policies and values -6 months of equipment operating experience ( mini excavators, skid steers, dozers, etc) -Comfortable working around water, slopes, and environmental risks (bees, poison ivy, etc.)
