The Role

Overview

Administers wrap‑up insurance projects and supports risk managers on compliance.

Tasks

-Updates feasibility study benchmarking with current market data as needed. -Prepares draft CCIP proposals for review by Risk Manager and eventual submission to Owner -Creates draft CCIP manual for review by Risk Manager, and eventual submission to project purchasing team. -Attends bi-weekly or monthly wrap-up administration calls with project team and broker, to address any outstanding issues and ensure project is running smoothly. -Interfaces with insurance broker and carrier as needed -Attends OCIP kick off meetings, with project team and owner’s broker/carrier and division Risk Manager. -Coordinates, schedules and assists division Risk Manager with CCIP kick off meetings, with project team, broker, carrier, and medic. -Assist with training the business units as needed. -Maintain updated project information in the Riskonnect database. -Becomes versed in project insurance coverages, including general liability, workers’ compensation, excess liability, builder’s risk, pollution liability and professional liability. -Generates CCIP feasibility studies for each CCIP proposal, in coordination with the regional Risk Manager -Coordinates and runs project insurance kick-off calls for any project over $50M in size that is not enrolled in a wrap-up program – to ensure project understands insurance coverage that applies to that project (including GL, WC, Builders Risk, CPPI, and SDI) and what to do in the event of a claim. -Respond to requests for waivers related to insurance compliance. Escalate to Risk Manager as needed. -Periodically visits job sites, in coordination with Carrier Risk Engineering staff and division Risk Manager. -Provide weekly report to Risk Managers with project updates, including changes to project value, end date, changes in scope, enrollment issues, issues with medic, or any other issue that needs attention.

What You Bring

-Gilbane Safety (regional & national) -Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years relevant industry experience -Excellent customer service skills -Excellent problem solving, planning, and organizational skills-including multi-tasking -Ability to understand issues quickly and follow through to resolution -Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Office, Excel and other critical RMIS software is essential -Superior written, verbal, interpersonal capabilities -Ability to function as an integral part of a team, highly collaborative -Ability to coordinate efforts involving individuals from different geographic areas as well as external partners
