The Role

Overview

Assist in property maintenance, perform repairs and preventative upkeep for resident safety.

Tasks

-Inspects and helps coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services. -Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter. -Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property. -Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment and tools as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

What You Bring

-Ability to lift/move/push/pull up to 150 lbs on occasion with a frequent need to lift/push/pull 25 lbs - 75lbs and be on your feet a majority of the day -Cocaine Metabolites -Phencyclidine ("PCP") -Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage -Excellent customer service skills -Estimated 60% - 100% need to bend/stoop/squat, climb stairs, push or pull, and reach above shoulder -Amphetamines including Methamphetamine -Proficient in unit turns and appliance repair is a plus -Occasional need to type, write, & grasp (working at a computer and answering phones) -This position requires the ability to stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day. Estimated 60% - 100% of time is spent on feet. -At least 2+ years of maintenance experience in property management strongly preferred, but not required -Willingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projects -Opiates including Codeine and Morphine
