Tasks

-Executing inspections of sewer and drain systems with keen attention to detail -Upholding and complying with quality, safety, and regulatory standards at all times -Operating specialized drainage equipment such as drain snakes, hydro-jetters, and drainage cameras -Diagnosing both common and uncommon drainage problems and effectively educating customers on your findings and solution options -Fostering and building lasting relationships with customers through outstanding service -Documenting all quotes, invoices, and work performed with in-depth precision -Responding to drainage emergencies swiftly and steadily -Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on drainage systems, including clearing blockages

What You Bring

-Skilled at creative problem-solving and critical analysis -Adept at working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting and courteously interacting with a variety of personalities -Basic computer and smartphone skills -Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience and satisfactory driving record -Excellent communication and customer service skills with a focus on active listening -Flexibility, adaptability, and reliability in the field -Self-starter mentality with great time management skills -Availability to work Monday-Friday with a mandatory weekend and overnight on-call rotation -Ability to perform all necessary physical aspects of the job, including, but not limited to, lifting, moving, pushing, pulling, and carrying at least 60 pounds; standing, kneeling, and crawling for extending periods of time; and working in a variety of environments including from heights and within tight spaces. This may include the ability to pass the DOT physical exam annually -At least 21 years of age (for insurance purposes, unless an exception applies) -Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, understanding, and speaking -Eagerness to learn and apply new drainage knowledge -Capability to pass background check and drug screening -Communicating professionally and conscientiously in all customer and team interactions -Friendly demeanor with a positive go-getter personality
