Overview

Assist and oversee shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and logging samples.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Prepares samples for analysis. -Stores, restocks, and shelves samples as necessary. -Opens coolers and inspects contents of shipments. Checks documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for. -Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around Sample Receiving area. -Handles issues calmly and politely. -Enters records in LIMS system. -Accepts and signs for deliveries. -Follows strict safety and quality control procedures. -Distributes samples in different departments as appropriate. -Ensures that work area is clean and organized. -Is capable of operating forklifts and other equipment to move heavy
