Control & Instrument Technician

Overview

Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot control and instrumentation systems at a waste‑to‑energy plant.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Fault finding, installing, maintaining and testing all control equipment as directed by the C&I Engineer -Calibrations and loop checking of instruments -Assist in the development of plant modification and improvement work -Maintaining the continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS)

What You Bring

-Ideally qualified with an IOSH or equivalent with an appreciation of workplace Health & Safety including knowledge of Safe Systems of Work, LOTO, Isolations, SOP’s, RAMS would also be considered. -At least years maintenance experience with a range of equipment including DCS & PLC systems, Instrumentation (maintenance and calibration) which includes; Flow, Level, Pressure etc -A recognised qualification in electrical / electronic engineering at Level 3 (C&G, ONC, NVQ, SVQ) level or higher; other qualifications below this will be considered with extensive experience
