Tasks

The Cost Control Manager ensures the financial health of projects by developing, monitoring, and managing budgets. They provide accurate cost estimates, track expenditures, and identify variances to maintain financial control. Their role involves implementing effective cost control systems and strategies to optimize resource allocation and achieve financial efficiency. -Create financial reports with key metrics and trends for management. -Prepare accurate cost forecasts, including all potential expenses and risks. -Suggest and implement improvements to cost control practices. -Review contracts to ensure financial terms are followed and resolve cost issues. -Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and others to stay aligned. -Develop detailed budgets for projects and departments that align with company goals. -Identify financial risks and create plans to avoid cost overruns. -Set up and maintain systems to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. -Track actual spending vs. budgeted amounts and analyse any differences. -Participate in safety initiatives and incident reporting in line with company policies.

What You Bring

-Masters in Accounts and Finance (preferred) -ERP experience (preferably SAP) -Strong communication and leadership skills -The candidate should have over 8 years of total experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role, with 2 years of experience in the GCC region preferred. -Strong budgeting, cost estimation, and financial analysis skills -Excellent analytical and reporting abilities -Bachelor's in finance, Accounting, Economics, Public or Business Administration -Knowledge of risk mitigation and contract management
